Je penssais que les joints homocinétiques du 3.0L Di n'étaient pas compatibles avec le pont R 180
It is hard to get R200A from pre 1989 T1/Pathfinder with VG30I engine. These are the oldest T1/Pathfinders, and their R200A is compatible with T2 inner CV joints.
But, by accident, my friend has one of these (pre 1989 VG30I T1), to here is what I found out:
1. If you get R200A from pre 1989 T1/Pathfinder with VG30I engine, it will be fully compatible with T2 inner CV joints - 3x2 bolts (I was happy to get one of these

)
2. If you get R200A from after 1989 T1/Pathfinder with VG30E engine (like vincent's R200A - far easyer to find) - 5x1 bolts, here are your options:
- You can get R200A with inner CV joints, outer CV joints, half axles and knuckles, and install this all to your T2. You will loose yous ABS this way, because T1 knuckles does not have ABS option. You will have to change lower balljoints also from T1 or pre 1996 T2.
- You can get R200A, inner CV joints and half axles from VG30E T1, and outer CV joints from VG30I or 2.4 or (maybe) 2.7TD T1. These outer CV joints are compatible both to your knuckles, and to bigger diameter halfaxles from VG30E T1. This way, you will be able to use your knuckles without loosing ABS, and use your hubs also. As a bonus, these outer CV joints are stronger than T2 ones, so you will have stronger inner CV joints, stronger half axles and stronger outer CV joints from T1, installed on T2, without loosing anything (ABS, lower ball joints, front suspension geometry and so on).
I've mentioned front suspension geometry because the angles on after 1996 T2 are slightly different than these on pre 1996 T2 and all of T1/Pathfinder, and if you put knuckles and lower ball joints from T1 on your T2, the angles (mostly kingpin angle) of the front suspension will become like these on T1/pre 1996 T2, and you will have to know this and tell it to the service guy every time when front suspension adjustment is performed.
PP: I hope someone will translate this, because I don't think google translate will do a good job on it.
