Bonjour Didi, bien sûr que ce ne sont pas des amortisseurs a mettre pour faire 90% route et quelques chemins.D'ailleurs avant j'avais des Koni Haevy Track mais j'en avais mare de les changer tout les 20 a 30000 km de RAID d'où mon investissement dans les scorpions III certe a 1600 euros les 4 mais prévus pour au moins 80000 km de Raid et révisables pour 250 euros les 4 (d'après le fabricant) tout les 4 ans ou 80000 km. Voili Voilà.
ET JE NE FAIT PAS DE PUB COMME CERTAIN LE PENSE, MAIS PARTAGE MON EXPÉRIENCE TOUT SIMPLEMENT.

The price of the FOXes is around 400-450EUR for the front pair. All the parts for revision is around 100-120USD per pair (that is, 4 shim packs + all the seals needed)

Le prix des Renards se situe autour de 400 450EUR pour la paire avant. Toutes les pièces pour la révision est d'environ 100 120USD par paire (soit 4 packs cale + tous les joints en caoutchouc au besoin)

C'est un prix très raisonnable. Il sont fait sur mesure ? ou il existe sur le catalogue FOX pour le Terrano 2 ? Quel est le diametre extérieur du corps de l'amortisseur ? Quel est le diamétre du vérin ? quels sont les dimensions de la reserve d'azote ?

There are not FOXes made for terrano 2. The ones I am using are with number 980-02-359-А. If you ask uncle Google for that number, you will find several sources for these shock absorbers.

According to FOX catalogues (which i cannot find at the moment, because they have changed thair site, and I don't know where the catalogue is) they are made for:
* 2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500
* 2000-2008 Chevrolet Silverado C1500HD /C2500 / C2500HD
* 2001-2008 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
* 2000-2006 Chevrolet Suburban 2500
* 2000-2008 Chevrolet Silverado K1500HD / K2500 / K2500HD
* 2001-2008 Chevrolet Silverado K3500
* 2000-2008 GMC Sierra C1500HD / C2500 / C2500HD

They are made with factory valving 50/70, the body diameter is 2 inches, the rod diameter is 5/8 inches. There are second piston in the remote reservoir, separating the nitrogen from the oil, as far as I know.

Despite these are not made for T2, I must say their performance is the best I've achieved so far, both on- and offroad. I had a little conversation with a FOX guy, I have given him some facts about the T2 front suspension, and he suggested that 50/70 valving would be OK for this vehicle (T2). When I asked him what is the factory valving for this exact shock absorber (980-02-359-h) , he also said that this shock absorber comes with 50/70 valving straight from the factory. Anyway, you must consult your local dealer for all the options and the prices. On the FOX site, there is even an upgrade for adjusting the compression force. Here it is:

Malgré ces faits ne sont pas pour T2, je dois dire que leur rendement est meilleur que j'ai réalisé jusqu'à présent, à la fois sur et hors route. J'ai eu une petite conversation avec un gars FOX, je lui ai donné quelques faits sur la suspension avant T2, et il a suggéré que valves 50/70 serait OK pour ce véhicule (T2). Quand je lui ai demandé quelle est la fabrique de valves pour cet amortisseur exacte (980-02-359-h) , il dit aussi que cet amortisseur est livré avec 50/70 valves droites de l'usine. Quoi qu'il en soit, vous devez consulter votre revendeur local pour toutes les options et les prix. Sur le site FOX, il ya même une mise à niveau pour ajuster la force de compression. La voici:

I must say also, that I had to make a little adjustments to the bottom shock absorber end. It comes for a 14mm bolt, and T2 original lower shock absorber mount is for 12mm bolts. I had to make a 12mm sleeves in place of original ones and cut a bit of the rubber bushing in order for them to fit. Also, at the top mount, I have used only one of the FOX bushings for the top, and one the bushings of my old shock absorber for the bottom. I had to do an additional 10mm sleeves in order to be able to tighten the bushings - FOX bushings are a bit bigger then the original T2 ones, and I have used only one of them, as I said.

As for the rear pair, I think that 10 inch travel, 2 inch body with remote reservoir will be OK. I will have to find out what valving will suit T2. I think there will be no need of any modification for them to fit.

These are with 14mm rubber bushings on both ends. I think the original T2 rear shock absorber mounts are absolutely the same.

Je dois dire aussi, que je devais faire un peu d'ajustements à la fin d'amortisseur en bas. Il vient pour un boulon 14mm, et T2 d'origine Lower Mount amortisseur pour les boulons de 12mm. J'ai dû faire un manche de 12mm au lieu de ceux d'origine et de couper un peu de la douille en caoutchouc afin de leur permettre ajustement. Aussi, à la montagne en haut, je n'ai utilisé qu'un seul des douilles FOX pour le haut, et on les bagues de mes anciens amortisseurs pour le fond. Je devais faire une des manches supplémentaires 10mm afin d'être capable de serrer les bagues - bagues FOX sont un peu plus grand, puis ceux d'origine T2, et je n'ai utilisé qu'un seul d'entre eux, comme je le disais.

Quant à la paire arrière, je pense que 10 voyages pouces, 2 corps pouces avec réservoir séparé sera OK. Je vais devoir trouver ce valves conviendra T2. Je pense qu'il ne sera pas nécessaire de toute modification pour eux de s'adapter.

Ce sont avec des coussinets en caoutchouc 14mm sur les deux extrémités. Je pense que l'original T2 monte à l'arrière d'amortisseur est absolument le même.
