Does someone use these tires on sand or other offroad conditions ? What do you think about? they are 7.50/16

very specific tyre , never seen it before. Even on the Rallye optic 2000 tunisie , they all use Bfgoodrich tyre .

This tire is used by the Btritish army on their land rover.

It is not a new model, some years ago I saw in one of the french off road news paper a test made by Philippe Simonin on a pajero 2.8L short wheel base.

He said that this tire was beter than the michelin OR on road, and almost equivalent in offroad (mud).

It have been design for army use and with special request from the english army, it had to be beter than the other on wet road (it seams to rain quite a lot in england .

Phil.Sim also said that it was less noisy than the michelin.

During all my trip in Africa, Europe and China, I saw only one time this tire on a 4wheel drive, it was on a land rover 110. It looks quite strange, it is not a comon design but the guy was happy about them , this tire is very narow and it might be good in mud but I am septic for african use.

For African or hard offroad (I mean with big and agressive stones, soft sand......) I use only 2 models; the classical BF mud or the unknown Korean Hankook RT01 (indestructible ) in 235 85R16 or 265 75R16
They are very good everywhere
