A750F won't shit in 5th...

The A750E/F uses two temperature sensors, each with a different function.•ATF Temp #1 –Used by the ECM to modify pressure control of the clutches and Brakes (if failed, 5thgear up-shift and Flex lock-up are prohibited)•ATF Temp #2 –Used by the ECM for shift timing control when the ATF temperature is high.
confirmé sur autre post:
Might need to check the trans temp switchs.
Will not let it shift into overdrive until it says trans is warm enough. There are 2ATF temp sensors that tie back to the ecm.
See if you have codes DTC P0712 and P0713.
during the #1ATF temp sensor malfunction up-shift to 5th gear and lock-up are prevented.

"There are many things what will cause the PCM to inhibit 5th (overdeive). A few examples are misfire codes, engine temperature, knock sensor codes, MLP (manual lever position switch, etc. A quick scan will reveal the problem. When you have a problem like this never disconnect your battery. When you disconnect your battery you lose the freeze frame data which is a snapshot of what caused the failure"
