I was last week end on the road that we call Via del Sale; at the France-Italy border .. a really panoramic track ....
and met a "land friend" with the same car I have.
He had the mark LANDMANIAC.COM .....

The difference of each soft top (cabrio type) was evident !!!
His Soft Top is much better than mine ....

I'd like to ask you something if I do not disturb and you don't mind.

For the time bein I suggest that zone .. around Limone and French side ... wonderfull .. !!!!

I 'd like to kindly ask you a favor.

As you can see I have on my DEF a capote "cabrio" style made in South Italy .... I have to say that our italian production (in this case !! ) is much worste that you (AUTO24) one. I want to change my capote with the Auto24 one. (my one is plastic made against cotton of your one and also particulars are better setted)

The french capote I saw last week end is well made.

So I got in touch with AUTO24 (through my girlfriend who speak a small French) and got informations about it.

The declared price is reasonable : thay say 3000 Euro including Roll Bar.
It means (more or less .. please correct me if you have informations about it) 2.200/2.300 Euro for the capote with metal structure and 800/700 Euro for Roll Bar ... on the line of the other european prices (all over Europe Land Rover got a joint with specialized Mechanical points to produce such a cabrio-capote. That part is included in the official price list of Land Rover as spare part).

I have to say that my actual capote is for everything similar to tha AUTO24 one ... apart the material and the ... made work (the capacity of people to make a good job)

The point is that probably we were not able to understand each other may be for language barrier ... we got that they are necessary 2 days of work (800 Euro) to assemble the capote .... .. I just 'd like to have your impressions ... I know the Land people and we are oriented to solve all kind of problems by ourself ... so (I am "the last wheel of the truck") you may have an idea of this quantity of hours.

I have seen disassemble my LR original Soft Top capote (militar type) and assemble the new one by one person in 7 hours .... ok the job could be better made ... but I feel that 2 french specialized like AUTO24 are ... can not need 16 hours to do that job ...

Do you feel I badly understood !? .. or I have no chences and have to pay such an unbeliveable quantity of money !?

(up to 30 Sept as it is a company mobile and I am going to change it ... not only the cell .. also the company ;o) .. )
